Re.Summer 2021 Group Training Program
TPW is excited to offer a summer program for group training! In combination with HEAL/GFGF/Limitless Coaching/PKPC we will offer weekly group training sessions, clinics and big training days.

TUESDAY Bike/Brick workouts @ 7:15am (16 sessions, $150+HST, $15+HST drop in)
If you are looking to get faster and stronger and thrive in a group training environment then this group is for you! Warmup on your own and then meet at 7:15am at various locations for a main set of hill repeats or a brick workout. Workouts are suitable for a range of abilities but would best suit those who can easily ride for 1hr without stopping. You can look forward to technique and pacing feedback and a post workout debrief! These will be coached by Miranda, Tara and Adam. Locations will vary each week: Beechwood (Note Beechwood starts at 6:45am and is currently FULL) June 15, June 29, July 13), High Park (June 22, July 20, July 27, Aug 10, Aug 24, Sept 7, Sept 21, Sept 28) or the CNE (July 6, Aug 3, Aug 17, Sept 14).

WEDNESDAY Zwift meetups @ 6:30am ($150+HST, $10+HST drop in)
For those of you training for Ironman, the mid-week tempo ride is a key component to effective training! Join Miranda's 6:30am Zwift meetup for a 2-2.5hr tempo ride! These will not be on Zoom, but Miranda will provide a workout and will be there to guide you through Zwift messaging.

THURSDAY CNE Run Group @ 7am/7:15am (16 sessions, $150+HST, $15+HST drop in)
If you are looking to get faster and stronger and thrive in a group training environment then this run group is for you! Warmup on your own and then meet at 7am or 7:15am at the CNE (in front of Starbucks) for activation and drills and then a 40-50min main set. Workouts are suitable for a range of abilities but would best suit those who can run 5K continuously in 18-35 minutes. You can look forward to technique and pacing feedback and a post workout debrief and Starbucks! There will be a group of 9 starting at 7am and another group at 7:15am for drills/description of workout. These will be coached by Miranda.

FRIDAY Cherry Beach Swims @ 7am/7:15am (10 sessions, $150+HST, $20+HST drop in)
If you are looking to get faster and stronger and thrive in a group training environment then this swim group is for you! Warmup on your own and then meet at the lifeguard house on the beach for activation and drills and then a 40-50min main set. Workouts are suitable for a range of abilities but would best suit those who can swim continuously for 400m. You can look forward to technique and pacing feedback and a post workout de-brief! These will be coached by Miranda, Adam and Kevin.

Select SUNDAY Rides @ 7am ($15+HST)
Sunday rides start in Caledon (Heritage/Mississauga Rd). Miranda will begin the ride with a proper safety introduction and explanation of the route and give some coaching tips specific for long rides. The first 20-30km is a no-drop warmup with Miranda providing feedback and coaching advice. After 30km, everyone will do their own planned distance/duration of workout. Miranda will provide a route of various distances from 50km to 200km that typically includes a Bakery stop. However, after 1hr it is not a coached ride and everyone is on their own based on their ability! So it is recommended to buddy up with someone of a similar speed for these rides. This is a ride for intermediate (25kph riders) to advanced.

GULLIVER'S LAKE @ Saturday, June 26, 2021 9am and 10:15am ($55+HST)
Join coaches Kevin and Miranda on a big training day at Gulliver's Lake! We will start with an open water swim demo and tips followed by a bike ride (up to 3hrs) and then a run around the lake at the park. There will be van support on the ride and the course will be looped right turns offering a mix of terrain, so that you are never very far from home! Cost includes park fee. MUSKOKA TRAINING DAY @ Saturday, July 10, 2021 7:30am ($55+HST)
Join coaches Tara and Kevin for a big training day in Muskoka. We’ll have a full supported (coach and vehicles) on the Muskoka 70.3 course. We will start the day early with an open water swim discussion, skills overview and then an ~1000m swim on the 70.3 course. Ride will start at 9am and you will have up to 4 hours of bike time to ride the course as well as an opportunity to run off the bike. We will end the day with a group recap and race strategy talk. Day kicks off at 7:30am at the Canada Summit Center in Hunstville. Please email Tara or Kevin for more information.
PORT DOVER TRAINING DAY @ Saturday, July 24, 2021 7:30am ($55+HST)
Join Coaches Eric and Phaedra for a big day of training in Port Dover in the Norfolk region. Starting with a swim/drills off the beautiful sandy beach into calm and swimmer friendly Lake Erie. This will be followed by your choice of one to three, 30km loops (a couple of different loops to keep it interesting) through quiet country roads (flat to rolling terrain) and finishing it off with a 20-60 minute run along the Lynn Valley Rail Trail (lots of shade to keep you cool). We will finish off the day with a recap and coaches Q and A on anything triathlon related. We start at 7:30am at the Port Dover Beach by the pier. Swim Clinic 5:30pm @ June 25, 2021 ($30+HST)
Join Miranda for a 1 hour open water swim clinic for BEGINNERS at Cherry Beach. We will go through some basics about how to get comfortable in the open water, Tips on how to manage anxiety in the open water and cold or wavy conditions. We will work on relaxing and breathing properly while swimming. We will also cover proper stroke techniques. This is will be a good intro if you want to join the regular open water swim program. It's also good for people who have been out of the water for awhile and need a good re-introduction to swimming. Register HERE (or become a summer member and register for free!)

Refund Policy: No REFUNDS on group training unless we have to cancel a session due to gathering restrictions or low registration. We will not be able to offer refunds if we have to cancel a session due to inclement weather. However, we will try to re-schedule the event. If this isn't possible or you can't attend the rescheduled event, we will try to offer a credit you can use for other events.
